I have lots of respect for MHFM. God has truly given them great graces to be able to make such research and studies and write it all simple enough to understand for those who truly want the truth.

As for my comments on those who commented anonymously, IF your position is correct why not show your name without fear? That's right, because you are simply cowards! The sad thing is that ALL THOSE OBJECTIONS that were brought up by those two Anonymous commentators have been REFUTED in this book: Outside the Catholic Church There Is Absolutely No Salvation. *sigh* It truly is a sad thing to be in heresy and don't know that you are in heresy. Thank you for your comment. I am no scientist and have not done too much research on the HAARP project.
I do know this; If it is possible to manipulate the weather (I am inclined to believe it's possible) and use the forces of nature against another country (or against its own country), I have no problem believing the people in charge of our government would do so. We all know the track record our "leaders" have for such things.

Jesus did not make Baptism obligatory on all men until after His Resurrection.

Matthew 28: 19-20 "19 Going therefore, teach all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you..."

Also Jesus did not say he would be in heaven, He said paradise (Luke 23: 43), there is a difference.
Jesus did not go to Heaven that day. Where did he go? He went to hell, to the Limbo of the Fathers. This was a place, as described in Catholic Tradition, of natural happiness. A sort of paradise for those under the Old Law that died in favor with God. The Good Thief did not need Baptism because he was under the Old Law.
So there is no indication of Baptism of Desire or Blood.

If a person is of Good Will, the Lord will make Baptism available to them through either Natural or Supernatural means. There are many teachings that prove one must have actual sacramental Baptism before death if one wants to go to heaven (read some of my older posts).

Those who have been Baptized and die before the age of reason can be saved first of all. If one is above the age of reason, one needs to be Baptized, be in a state of grace (i.e. without mortal sin), believe in, at least, the basic tenets of the Catholic faith (i.e. Trinity, Incarnation), and one cannot obstinately believe in any heresy. Your question is not that deep or philosophical, it is easy to answer and anyone can understand it. The Faith is simple, one just needs to accept it.

This is true. If God makes something obligatory on all (i.e. Baptism) then He will make sure that anyone of Good Will can receive it.
God does not command impossibilities.

Thank you friend for the comments.

I have one thing to say; that is, no one can be Baptized outside the Church. When one is Baptized, they automatically become part of the True Catholic Church. The Church teaches that they are in the Church until they start to believe and preach some sort of schism, heresy or apostasy. I'm sure that you knew that, I just wanted to clarify in case someone looked at this and thought that some one could be Baptized outside the Church.

You are right on though. I assume you are talking about the new Vatican II/Novus Ordo sect which purports to be the Catholic Church. No one should ever go to their false "masses". One would incur the wrath of God if they participated in the mockery of the Real Mass, a.k.a. the novus ordo mass.

Response:

First, I already explained the "OR" part of this statement in the section "against baptism of desire" which you are attempting to refute. If you refuse to believe it then you are of bad will because it is easy to understand the plain meaning of the Council. It is the evil heretics that try to twist the mind of the Church and find meaning in it's words that are not there.

Second, to answer the question "did Jesus lie?", NO He did not. The Good Thief is in Heaven, but neither him nor Jesus went to heaven on the day of the Crucifixion. It was not until after the Ascension. He went to paradise where the fathers of the old testament were until the savior came, the "limbo of the fathers". The thief was with Jesus in "paradise" that day, listening to Him preach His Gospel. So let me ask you, did Jesus lie? If "paradise" was/is heaven, then He is a liar. Since they did not go to Heaven that day, "paradise" is not the same as Heaven, because Jesus is not a liar. Since every Catholic knows that nobody entered Heaven until Christ did, then the Good Thief must not have gotten to Heaven until after Jesus arrived.

Third, Jesus did not Baptize the Good Thief with water. The reason for this is that Water Baptism was not obligatory on everybody yet:

Catechism of the Council of Trent, Baptism made obligatory after Christ’s Resurrection, p. 171: “Holy writers are unanimous in saying that after the Resurrection of our Lord, when He gave His Apostles the command to go and teach all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, the law of Baptism became obligatory on all who were to be saved.”

So yes, Jesus saved him without water Baptism but, water Baptism was not necessary yet!
It is simple to understand if one is of Good Will.

The false church does preach "Universal Salvation", but this is not the opposite of baptism of desire, it (Universal Salvation) is the only logical conclusion (of baptism of desire).
One cannot be a member of the Church without Water Baptism, and one cannot be saved without being a member of the Church.

Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis (# 22), June 29, 1943: “Actually only those are to be numbered among the members of the Church who have received the laver of regeneration and profess the true faith."

Proposition 1: No salvation outside the Church equals nobody being saved without the waters of Baptism.
Proposition 2: Somebody being saved desiring baptism without actual baptism, equals salvation outside the Church.

This is why Church writers use the words "Laver of Regeneration" and like phrases to stress the water aspect which is necessary. The desire and the actual physical act of initiation are necessary.

Would it be easier to lead to "Universal Salvation" with baptism of desire which allows for the possibility of salvation without Water Baptism (against many Dogmas) and not being a member of the Church? Or would it be easier to lead to "Universal Salvation" by saying that nobody can be saved without water Baptism period; that if one dies without Baptism he will surely perish.

Response:

First, neither the Church's Popes nor any of the Council's have ever taught baptism of desire.

Second, Jesus did not talk about three different Sacraments of Baptism. Just one, with water, and no one can enter heaven without it.

Mark 16:15-16- “And he (Jesus) said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned.”

John 3:5- “Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

I really don't know why you brought up the other baptisms Jesus spoke of. You admit that "no indelible mark on the soul, and of course, not the sacrament", but the Church teaches that indelible mark is membership in the Church and the Sacrament is absolutely necessary.

Council of Trent on Baptism, canon 5, ex cathedra: "If anyone says that baptism [the sacrament] is optional, that is, not necessary for salvation (cf. Jn. 3:5): let him be anathema."

Third, St. Thomas was a great Saint and Theologian but was not infallible and also able to err in Theological speculations. He also said that the Virgin Mary was not immaculately conceived. When the Magisterium defines or teaches something and a saint teaches opposite, the Magisterium is to be believed.

If I understand you correctly you are saying why does God allow poison or more accurately, heresies, to exist in this world. To answer this we need to look at "I Corinthians 11:19"- For there must also be heresies: that they also, who are approved, may be made manifest among you."
This means that those who stay firm in the faith will be shown to be more remarkable among those men who pervert the Word and Will of God. This shows how God can always draw Good out of Evil.
God does not want there to be heretics but He uses them to help us be more wary and vigilant against the evils out there. This is because if one knows the Will of God, as revealed by the True Church, then every heretic and heresy will be manifest and obvious, as in the evil heresies produced by the Vatican II religion.

Since we are not robots, and God gave us free will, we have the option of choosing Him. When evil is there on our left hand and Good on our right hand, and we choose Good, it is pleasing to God. Since there is evil in the world, God can bring Good out of it.
Also, it is not our place to destroy the devil but we can help in destroying him in the long run by choosing God over him.

First of all this is going to be quite a lengthy response. This person besides being of extreme bad will is also very much full of hate for me and for anyone who stands up for the Dogmas of the Catholic Church.

It has everything to do with the No Salvation Dogma. If one can be saved by either one of these heretical theories then they would obviously be outside the Church. That is the whole point of these theories. Let me make a few points that totally blow this theory away and refute your argument.
The answer to this is that the Catholic Church has never recognized that there are saints in heaven who were not baptized.
Not all of the information surrounding the deaths of martyrs is accurate. For instance, “According to St. Ambrose, Prudentius and Father Butler, Saint Agnes was beheaded. Others had said she [St. Agnes] was burned to death. Not all of the information given in the martyrdom narrative is necessarily accurate, consistent, or complete.”
Pope St. Gelasius, Decretal, 495: “Likewise the deeds of the holy martyrs… [which] with remarkable caution are not read in the holy Roman Church… because the names of those who wrote them are entirely unknown… lest an occasion of mockery might arise.”
In his work The Age of Martyrs, the renowned Church historian Abbot Giuseppe Ricciotti says: “For guides we have appropriate documents. These, however, as we have already seen, are often uncertain and would lead us completely astray. Especially unreliable are the Acts or Passions of martyrs.”
One could point out that the account of her martyrdom (St. Emerentiana) provides a situation that, in itself, suggests she was already baptized; for she wouldn’t have endangered herself in that fashion during the persecution had she not been baptized.
If she wasn’t baptized before she was attacked (which is highly unlikely), she certainly could have been baptized after the attack by her mother who accompanied her (according to accounts) to the tomb to pray.
The Roman Breviary is not infallible.

The Catholic Encyclopedia, “Baptism,” Volume 2, 1907: “A certain statement in the funeral oration of St. Ambrose over the Emperor Valentinian II has been brought forward as a proof that the Church offered sacrifices and prayers for catechumens who died before baptism. There is not a vestige of such a custom to be found anywhere… The practice of the Church is more correctly shown in the canon (xvii) of the Second Council of Braga (572 AD): ‘Neither the commemoration of Sacrifice [oblationis] nor the service of chanting [psallendi] is to be employed for catechumens who have died without baptism.’”
The Catholic Encyclopedia, “Baptism,” Volume 2, 1907: “The reason of this regulation [forbidding ecclesiastical burial to all unbaptized persons] is given by Pope Innocent III (Decr., III, XXVIII, xii): ‘It has been decreed by the sacred canons that we are to have no communion with those who are dead, if we have not communicated with them while alive.’’
As the Council of Trent teaches that it would not be impossible for some who really wants Baptism and membership into the Church to receive it. God always provides to those who are of Good will. ---Pope Paul III, Council of Trent, Session 6, Chap. 11 on Justification, ex cathedra: "... no one should make use of that rash statement forbidden under anathema by the Fathers, that the commandments of God are impossible to observe for a man who is justified. ‘FOR GOD DOES NOT COMMAND IMPOSSIBILITIES, but by commanding admonishes you both to do what you can do, and to pray for what you cannot do…’”

The Bible was approved by the Church not the Commentaries. The people who offered their commentary were not infallible, although I’m sure they might have been holy, they were not infallible and were susceptible to error.

These quotes that you have brought forth have definitely contradicted what Cantate Domino has stated. As you can see that the Teaching is inclusive of everyone who is not in the Catholic Church. There are Jews, heretics (e.g. Protestants), schismatics (e.g. orthodox) and PAGANS (i.e. everyone else not in the three previous groups, e.g. Muslims, Hindus, all not official members of the Church through Sacramental Baptism, including catechumens).

One scholar noted that the book St. Thomas was writing when he died was called The Compendium of Theology, in which are found at least nine explicit errors. In fact, “over thirty years ago, Dr. Andre Daignes, Professor of Philosophy in Buenos Aires, Argentina, pointed out twenty-four formal errors in the Summa of St. Thomas.” This simply shows again that the theological speculations of even our greatest sainted theologians are just that – fallible speculations. Only St. Peter and his successors, the popes, when speaking from the Chair of Peter, have the unfailing faith.

This is a BOLD FACED LIE! I feel sorry that the people that you listen to have lied to you and you believed them and are now going about spouting their lies.
First St. Thomas’ teaching is condemned by Trent. St. Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica III, Q. 66, A. 11, Answer 2: “As stated above, a sacrament is a kind of sign. The other two [baptism of desire and blood], however, are like the Baptism of Water, not, indeed, in the nature of sign, but in the baptismal effect. Consequently they are not sacraments.” Notice St. Thomas says that BOD and BOB are NOT sacraments but give the same Baptismal effect without receiving the actual sacrament, meaning we do not need the actual water Sacrament.
Now we will see what Trent says about this. Pope Paul III, The Council of Trent, Can. 5 on the Sacrament of Baptism, ex cathedra: “If anyone says that baptism [the sacrament] is optional, that is, not necessary for salvation (cf. Jn. 3:5): let him be anathema.”
Not one Official Church Council or Infallible Decree by a Pope has ever taught this heresy. It could not since the Church is without error. The Fathers, Saints and Doctors were by far not unanimous and in fact there are very few who speculated that BOD and BOB are possible.

Dogmas are to be believed as they are declared and no other way. Pope Pius IX, First Vatican Council, Sess. 3, Chap. 2 on Revelation, 1870, ex cathedra: “Hence, also, that understanding of its sacred dogmas must be perpetually retained, which Holy Mother Church has once declared; and there must never be a recession from that meaning under the specious name of a deeper understanding.” We cannot keep on interpreting Dogmas or it would never stop. If the Dogma say that there is No Salvation Outside the Church then we are to believe that nobody outside the Church can be saved.

Fr. Feeney was not excommunicated for this. It was for not going to Rome when summoned. This was because he was illegally summoned by the authorities there, by not giving the reason he was summoned for.
You might be surprised to know that Fr. Feeney’s excommunication was lifted and he was allowed to join the Church again without having to relinquish his belief in the No Salvation Dogma.
If you are implying that Cardinal Ottaviani was a pillar of the Catholic Faith you are wrong. Although he correctly spoke out about the evils of the diabolical Novus Ordo “mass”, he was still a heretic who denied the No Salvation Dogma and followed all the other heretics who ushered in the new anti-Catholic Vatican II church.

I have added a link to another Papal Document. In this document is the real Consecration of Russia by Pius XII. I add this because so many false traditionalist use the argument that there has to still be a Pope because there has not been a Consecration of Russia. This is because the Virgin Mary, at Fatima, said that the Pope would do this.
Many false traditionalists like to keep people in the dark about this document. It is very little known because of it.
The Virgin Mother told the truth that the Holy Father would consecrate Russia to Her. Russia was converted to peace, i.e. Russia stopped killing and persecuting Catholics specifically.

If you go to Apologetics and then to Scripture in the order of the mass. I noticed something in the wink of an eye. This is the new order false mass ! This is a grave error. Did you not notice this. I was surprised. Just thought I would bring this up in case you missed it. I would not want anybody getting confused.
If it contains one error published, it is not Catholic.

Thank you for the comment. The only reason I have a link to this website is so people can read a truly Catholic document from a truly Catholic Pope. IN TERRA PAX HOMINIBUS (denz. 352) is a writing by Pope St. Leo IX in which I have posted because, it shows that what is meant by the words "the gates of Hell". That is the words, snares, errors, disputations, etc... of HERETICS. This is something that new age "Catholics" don't understand.
The faith is more important than anything else. That is why heresy and heretics are the gates of hell, because they can destroy the faith and can send you to hell.
It just so happens that this writing is on this particular website.
You are right that if something contains one error it is not Catholic. If we could only stick to things in life that coincided with Catholic beliefs 100 percent, we could never leave the house. There is some sort of evil or heresy or apostasy at almost every turn in our society.
It is my fault that I did not give some sort of disclaimer about my links.
As far as I know there is only one fully Catholic website on the internet, "Most Holy Family Monastery.com".
There is nothing wrong with using certain websites or books that contain fully Catholic materials, although not Catholic themselves, for the furtherance of Catholic faith.

Thank you for the comment. It makes me happy to hear from people that still care about the TRUTH (i.e. Jesus).
The Novus Ordo "Catholics" have no concept of what it means to be Catholic. Most of them believe that being Catholic will bring experiences and feelings etc... , to prove to them that they are doing what is right. Christ said "An evil and adulterous generation seeketh a sign"(Mt. 12:39). Just like the Pharisees before them, the Novus Ordo's are always looking for a sign to prove their faith for them.
I know from my experiences with various V II "Catholics" that they have nothing except for signs to look for, to prove them their faith because no one actually knows what they believe. The Church for them is on Sundays and nothing else. The Vatican II church has been teaching contradictory things for almost fifty years now. The only constant is the confusion. The problem is that their own bad will keeps them from ever seeing the light of the True Catholic Church, which is not confined to a building.
The teachings of the Church has never and can never change.

I cannot truly relay how awfully horrible this forum is. I have been going on there recently to defend some Sedevacantist positions and the people on there are more willing to personally insult you, even though they don't know who you are, than to even begin to debate the issues.

Another big problem is that there is almost nobody on there that truly believes in the Dogma Outside the Church there is No Salvation. When they are presented with the many teachings from the Ordinary and the Extraordinary Magisterium, they either argue, falsely, about the infallibility of the matter or dismiss the issue altogether. They present totally baseless and mostly laughable responses. I had one guy tell me that the Pope has only used infallibility about 3-5 times in the history of the Papacy. I was astounded. There are dozens of Dogmas of the Church which need an Ex Cathedra statement from the Pope to be defined. There is also the countless instances where a Pope addresses Christians about faith or morals that also meet the infallibility standards.

These people are totally ridiculous. My suggestion to anybody reading this is to stay away from this site unless you are very grounded in your faith. You could leave there either a Protestant, very confused or very doubtful about your faith.

This could not be the Catholic Church because it cannot contain heresies or heretics.

Anna-Katarina Emmerick (d. 1824) "I saw again the new and odd-looking Church which they were trying to build. There was nothing holy about it... People were kneading bread on the crypt below... but it would not rise, nor did they receive the body of Our Lord, but only bread." (Yves Dupont, Catholic Prophecy by Yves Dupont, Rockford, IL: Tan Books, 1973, p. 116.)/ This is very important concerning this false church and the fact that it will not have a valid Eucharist, only bread in the place of the Body and Blood of our Lord. To worship bread is idolatry.

Old German Prophecy "When the world becomes godless, revolutions will break out against kings. Fathers will fight against their sons, and the sons their fathers. The doctrine will be perverted, and they will try to overthrow the Catholic Church.' ( Yves Dupont, Catholic Prophecy by Yves Dupont, Rockford, IL: Tan Books, 1973, p. 24.)/ This prophecy shows that there will be much persecution against the true believers and many will believe the false doctrines of the false church.

Jeanne Le Royer (Sister of the Nativity) "When the reign of antichrist draws near, a false religion will appear which will deny the unity of God and will oppose the Church. Errors will cause ravages as never before." ( Yves Dupont, Catholic Prophecy by Yves Dupont, Rockford, IL: Tan Books, 1973)/ A false church opposing the real church. This must mean that they will look much alike. The false church will appear to be the real church but in reality will eclipse the Catholic Church.

St. Gregory Nazianz (+380), Against the Arians: “Where are they who revile us for our poverty and pride themselves in their riches? They who define the Church by numbers and scorn the little flock?” (William Jurgens, The Faith of the Early Fathers, Vol. 2, p. 33. )/ A reminder that, like during the Arian crisis, we must not think that the Church has to be made up of a large amount of people. The Lord asked if he would find faith on Earth when He comes again. Don't persecute the little flock, JOIN IT.

Catholic Prophecies and Our Times

Part I

Here is some evidence from different Catholics throughout time of what is happening to the Catholic Church right now. This is not infallible proof, but it is very important and very telling to anyone who has faith in the divine and supernatural nature of the Traditional Catholic Church.

Our Lady of La Salette, (Sept. 19, 1846): “Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Anti-Christ… the Church will be in eclipse.” /To be in eclipse means to obscure or to block out. If something is eclipsed it does still exist, but is obscured by something else as if to seem that the eclipsed object does not exist. The light of the true Catholic Church is being blocked by the Vatican II/Novus Ordo church, as if the real Church doesn't exist. This is of course, impossible.

Prophecy of St. Nicholas of Fluh (1417-1487): “The Church will be punished because the majority of her members, high and low, will become so perverted. The Church will sink deeper and deeper until she will at last seem to be extinguished, and the succession of Peter and the other Apostles to have expired. But, after this, she will be victoriously
exalted in the sight of all doubters.”( Yves Dupont, Catholic Prophecy by Yves Dupont, Rockford, IL: Tan Books, 1973, p. 30.)/ One only needs to look at the sex abuse scandal so rampant in the Vatican II sect to see the perversion. Also, the perversion of the Catholic Doctrines so proudly exalted among the Vatican II church. St. Nicholas says it will seem that the Church and the Papacy will have been terminated, this coincides with the eclipse talked about by our Lady of La Salette.

Bl. Joachim (d. 1202): “Towards the end of the world, Antichrist will overthrow the pope and usurp his see.” (Rev. Culleton, The Reign of Antichrist, Tan Books, 1974, p. 130.)/ Antichrist is anyone preaching a false doctrine of Christ. By usurping the Pope's see, the Antichrist or Antipope begins a new church if peopel choose to follow him. This is because the Catholic Church cannot have as it's head a non-Catholic. Again good proof of extraordinary events in the end times. Things like this can happen and are happening.

“...St. Bernard speaks in the passage of the Anti-pope [as the Beast of the Apocalypse].” (Rev. Culleton, The Reign of Antichrist, Tan Books, 1974, p. 130.) /Here St. Bernard has reason to believe the Beast or Antichrist is going to be a false pope.

Pope St. Leo XIII in the Original Prayer to St. Michael (September 25, 1888): "...These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where has been set up the See of the most holy Peter and the Chair of Truth for the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered..." (The Raccolta, 1930, Benziger Bros., pp. 314-315. )/ This is part of the original Prayer to St. Michael in the Raccolta, that St. Leo XIII received during a vision. In 1934 this passage referring to the apostasy in Rome, was removed. The agents of evil already in place in the Vatican, well before Vatican II, were vigilant against any information that might get out exposing them to the faithful. Showing the true face of their plans of Apostasy.

Ecclesiasticus 5:4-9-- "4 Say not: I have sinned, and what harm hath befallen me? for the most High is a patient rewarder.5 Be not without fear about sin forgiven, and add not sin upon sin:6 And say not: The mercy of the Lord is great, he will have mercy on the multitude of my sins.7 For mercy and wrath quickly come from him, and his wrath looketh upon sinners.8 Delay not to be converted to the Lord, and defer it not from day to day.9 For his wrath shall come on a sudden, and in the time of vengeance he will destroy thee." / The mercy of the Lord is even with His Justice. Delay not and convert now to the True Church, The Catholic Church. God may not give you a chance tomorrow.

Luke 18:8-- "8...But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth?"/ When Jesus returns at the second Advent, He predicts himself , there shall rarely be found people who have the true faith.

2 Thess. 2:3-5-- "3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition4 Who opposeth and is lifted up above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself as if he were God.5 Remember you not that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?"/ The Revolt is the Apostasy from the true faith caused in large part by the Novus Ordo sect. The temple of God is the Catholic Churches of the world. People are worshipping the piece of bread as if it were the Real Presence in the Churches.

Matthew 24:15-- "15 When therefore you shall see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place: he that readeth let him understand."/ The Abomination is the false mass that is designed to mock the real mass and set up idolatrous worship.

Matthew 24:24-25-- "24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. 25 Behold I have told it to you, beforehand."/ The false popes in the false Catholic Church have changed the real Church's teaching to conform to modernistic and luciferian principles, decieving even those who claim to have the true faith but don't know what the Catholic Church really teaches.

1 Cor. 11:19-- "19 For there must be also heresies: that they also, who are approved may be made manifest among you."/ Not accepting heresies is the way to show the Lord that you are faithful to His Teachings and Traditions.

Against Baptism of Desire

Here is a portion of an ongoing discussion I have had with a Novus Ordo member about Baptism of Desire. One of three very destructive heresies rampant in the world today. The other two being Invincible Ignorance and Baptism of Blood. Contrary to what some people think the Council of Trent did not teach Baptism of Desire. Through mistranlation and some bad will and dishonesty on the part of modernists, this heresy was spread trying to use Trent as the backup. This is because Trent is an Infallible Council.

The only place that I know of that the Catholic Church even remotely appears to teach Baptism of Desire (BOD), is:

Pope Paul III, Council of Trent, Sess. 6, Chap. 4: "In these words there is suggested
a description of the justification of the impious, how there is a transition from
that state in which a person is born as a child of the first Adam to the state of
grace and of adoption as sons of God through the second Adam, Jesus Christ our
savior; indeed, this transition, once the gospel has been promulgated, CANNOT
TAKE PLACE WITHOUT the laver of regeneration or a desire for it, AS IT IS
WRITTEN: Unless a man is born again of water and the Holy Spirit, he cannot
enter the kingdom of God (John 3:5)."

It looks as though this teaches BOD. What if I were to say ... this swim cannot take place without water or the desire for it? One cannot do anything willingly without the desire to do it. So the transition to justification cannot take place without the laver or desiring to have it. Aside from this, the Latin word for "or" is Aut as you know, but 'Aut' always meant 'And' in the context of the councils. "...the laver of regeneration and a desire for it..." which means you need the laver and the desire for all adults in the sacraments of Baptism. Other examples would be:

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, "Cantate Domino," 1441, ex cathedra: "The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews [aut] or heretics and schismatics,

Pope Paul III, Council of Trent, Sess. 6, Introduction:
"… strictly forbidding that anyone henceforth may presume to believe, preach or teach, otherwise than is defined and declared by this present decree."

Pope Pius IV, Council of Trent, Sess. 21, Chap. 2:
"Therefore holy mother Church… has decreed that it be considered as a law, which may not be repudiated or be changed at will without the authority of the Church."

Does Florence mean either Jews or Heretics or Jews AND Heretics. Does Trent mean either preach or teach or preaching and teaching. Does Trent also mean either repudiated or changed or repudiate and change. The only explanation I can come up with as to the reason for people thinking this teaches BOD is that, again people have a hard time accepting that you have to have ACTUAL membership in the Church and this teaching was the only one they could get to try to teach BOD. By the way this is the proper interpretation of this text, there is another that does not hold true to the text.

This is the only infallible teaching that looks like BOD, but when compared to other teachings in Trent it hardly makes sense. For one, immediately after Trent would apparently teach BOD it would contradict itself by saying " AS IT IS WRITTEN: Unless a man is born again of water and the Holy Spirit, he cannot
enter the kingdom of God (John 3:5)." Scripture is infallible also so when it says no entrance to the kingdom without water and H.S. it means it strictly, which is why Trent said it is to be interpreted AS IT IS WRITTEN, i.e. no other interpretation can be applied to it. Second,

Pope Paul III, The Council of Trent, canons on the Sacrament of
Baptism, canon 5, ex cathedra: "If anyone says that baptism [the sacrament] is optional, that is, not necessary for salvation (cf. Jn. 3:5): let him be anathema."

BOD would make the Sacrament Baptism optional. We believe in one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins, not 2 or 3 BOD and some believe in the easily refutable BOBlood. Third,

Pope Paul III, The Council of Trent, On Original Sin, Session V, ex
cathedra: "By one man sin entered into the world, and by sin death... so that in them there may be washed away by regeneration, what they have contracted by generation, 'For unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God [John 3:5]."

Again, infallibly sin is washed away by Baptism. No mere desire here. Fourth,

Pope Paul III, The Council of Trent, canons on the Sacrament of
Baptism, Session 7, canon 2, ex cathedra: "If anyone shall say that real and natural water is not necessary for baptism, and on that account those words of Our Lord Jesus Christ: 'Unless
a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit' [John 3:5], are distorted into some sort of metaphor: let him be anathema."

If the desire were sufficient then water would not be necessary like this teaching expounds infallibly. The strict interpretation of Baptism ( the way it is obviously taught) is the only way to not distort this teaching "into some sort of metaphor".

As for these people who live perfectly good lives in other faiths, they are precisely the best candidates,assuming they are part of the elect, for God to shine His Divine Light on. To bring them into the true Church. The Church teaches that being in the Church means that you believe the whole Catholic Faith. Too many people think the Church is defined by buildings and other superficial things. It first starts with what you believe. Trent teaches on Justification:

Pope Paul III, Council of Trent, Session 6, Chap. 7, ex cathedra:"… the instrumental cause [of Justification] is the Sacrament of Baptism, which is 'the Sacrament of Faith,' without faith no one is ever justified…".

In order to be saved we need to be justified. In order to be justified we need to have the True Faith, In order to have True Faith we need to have Sacramental Baptism. None of the Schismatics, Heretics, Apostates, Protestants, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists etc. have any of this if we follow the Infallible teachings of the Catholic Church. There is no remission of sins outside the Catholic Church. Remember the road to hell is paved with good intentions. So many good guys are on the way there. I guess no one wants to admit this, that's why we have these sort of heresies.

To give an answer based on logic, I think BOD is wrong because it makes proselytizing our non-catholic neighbours impossible. Why would we want to change their cozy ways when they can enter through the gate without the C.C. Here's one logical refuting of BOD I've heard. Why do we try to stop abortions. If the whole point of this life is to get to Heaven then we would be doing the greatest disservice to the unborn by stopping this process of abortion. If they didn't need Baptism or their parents desire for their Baptism was sufficient, then the greatest act of charity would be to kill them before they had a chance to lose their salvation through actual sin. Of course this is ludicrous. These babies are going to limbo and are deprived from the Beatific Vision forever. That is why Satan, not the Church invented heresies like BOD so he can get as many souls as he can.

Finally, I would like to say that I don't know of any other infallible teaching that could either teach BOD or appear to teach it more likely. Please notify me of one if there is one. Catechisms do not qualify as infallible because there is almost always little errors here or there. For instance, Catechism of Trent does appear to teach BOD, but it also teaches that no graces exist outside the Catholic Church. It probably meant to say Sanctifying Grace but none the less it is known that predisposing or preveinent grace exists outside the Church or else no one would ever Convert. God allows these errors so that we can know that only the Pope can teach with the benefit of infallibly, provided the proper Vatican I requirements are met.

I agree that someone can be forgiven of their sins through confession to a priest. But the fact that we are all sinners has little to do with judging others. Like I said before, we have to judge others so we know who to stay away from, if that person is a detriment to our soul. I'm talking about openly mortally sinful people. That does not mean that after that person repents of their sins and promises to never do it again, one could not interact with them. Again though, it's all about avoiding the occasions of sin whether they be people, places, things, or ideas. Our souls are what matters.

I would never say that any Catholic could not be forgiven of Heresy or that there is any sin that cannot be forgiven through Confession. As for good things about the "popes", maybe Church history could tell you something. The majority of the heretics and anti-popes in Church history have done "good things'. That is how they succeed in destroying souls. Do you think if they were mean and blatantly anti-catholic that people would believe them. Heretics like Nestorius disguised a lot of his heretical statements in his writings by surrounding them with sound Catholic Teaching. It does not matter how much a person does "good things", no matter what dignity he has, if he does not hold Catholic Teaching whole and inviolate. If he doesn't, he just is not a Catholic at all. Remember the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Here is a teaching from the Council of Florence that we are bound to believe:

"It firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the catholic church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the catholic church before the end of their lives; that the unity of the ecclesiastical body is of such importance that only for those who abide in it do the church's sacraments contribute to salvation and do fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the christian militia produce eternal rewards; and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed his blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and the unity of the catholic church.

Yes we are dealing with human error because Jesus nor His Bride could ever err.

Dogma can never change, it has been believed since the start of the Catholic Church at Pentecost. We are to believe it as it has once been declared. The Church condemns changing its meaning under any false notion such as evolution of dogma or a deeper understanding of it. So you are correct in that area. The problem is John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI have all taught contrary to dogma and obstinately refused to give up their heresy.
Like you said, sins and immoral behavior are bad enough, but heresy, schism, and apostasy all remove one from communion with the Catholic Church. Church teaching and simple logic tell us that you cannot be the head of which you do not belong.

As far as passing eternal judgement on somebody I can never do that. But, there have been truths revealed by God to let us know His mind. For example, we do know that if a person dies without actual physical membership in the Catholic Church they will go to hell. Also, as far as judging others, it is obligatory that we do so as commanded by God. If we see a person committing adultery or any other mortal sin, we would judge them to be adulterers, etc.. If we did not judge, we would not be able to stay away from people who might be occasions of sin for us. Christ commanded us to judge people by their fruits, if we didn't we would place our souls in jeopardy.

I would never leave the Catholic Church, but the Vatican II church is not the Catholic Church. It is the whore of Babylon prophesied by St. John in the Apocalypse. Our Lady at La Salette said “Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Anti-Christ… the Church will be in eclipse.” This is not the only prediction the Vatican has suppressed to one extent or another.The fact that we are in the last stages of the Great Apostasy is obvious given the fact that there are hardly any Catholics left that believe what the Church teaches. To stay in the Vatican II church is like staying in the Muslim "religion" and trying to convert them to Christianity. The Catholic Church and the Vatican II church are diametrically opposed and are from different founders.

I'm sorry, but your last statement contains a falsehood, whether intentional or not. You said the Church has contained error from the beginning. The Catholic Church cannot contain error, it is the Perfect and Immaculate Bride of Christ. Also, Judas Iscariot was not guilty of error (heresy), he was guilty of despair and suicide.

TCE: I appreciate the compliment. It is too bad that we have to label the type of Catholic we are. And it's a bigger shame that the people calling themselves Traditional are not so, especially when questioned about certain aspects of faith.

It's sad to see all the people out there who are satisfied with feeling comfortable and are not willing to seek the truth. And even sadder those who find it and then reject it. I hope that you continue to try to convert people to the truth of the Catholic Church and the seeds you sow fall on good soil and produce good fruit.

No Salvation Outside the Catholic Church

I happen to believe in No Salvation Outside the Catholic Church with no exceptions. Some call this position the 'Feeneyite' position, but in reality it is the Catholic position.
Yesterday I was looking at a "traditional" discussion forum where a guy was stating that this position was essentially not Catholic. He gave a link to his website (which I will not give because it's easy enough for a person to find falsehood on the Internet without me aiding it). On this site was a lengthy list of Catholic Theologians, Doctors, Saints, and yes even a Pope or two. These certain Catholics have, at one point or another, theologically speculated on issues such as Baptism of Desire, Baptism of Blood and Invincible Ignorance. What this site, and all sites like it, lack is, even one "EX CATHEDRA" statement from one Pope that is infallibly protected from error as defined at Vatican I, that teaches baptism of blood, etc... The reason is because it does not exist. In fact there are several Popes who have reiterated that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church and meet the Vatican I requirements for infallibility.
Sites and people like this don't realize that they are promoting blasphemy against the Saintly Martyrs and Missionaries of the Church. Saints who endured tortures and death so as to not give up the Catholic Faith and water baptize as many souls as possible.
They also don't realize that they cannot truthfully assert most of the Catholic Church's Profession of Faiths because they require one to believe in one Baptism, not three or four.

Superficial Proof of Eclipse

If anyone needs proof that the Vatican II church is not the Catholic Church, one needs to look no further that the four identifiable marks of the Catholic Church.
1. It is One, The Novus Ordo does not have one faith; it is hard to find two people in it, that believe the same thing, which is protestantism.
2. It is Holy, One only needs to search the headlines minimally to find all the unholy aspects of the Vatican II church.
3. It is Catholic, If it were to be Catholic it would teach the same doctrines the Catholic Church has always taught without any wavering. If someone were to read only a little of the VII documents, they would see the departure from the Catholic Faith.
4. It is Apostolic, Once Paul VI changed the rite of ordination and consecrating of Bishops in 1968, the Apostolic Succession is gradually being wiped out since the new rite does not ordain new priests but only stresses the already royal priesthood in all Christians. No distinction is made between the two, just as the Anglican rite of ordination does. Which was declared null and void by Pope Leo XIII. Only those ordained in the Eastern Catholic or The Traditional Western Rite are truly Priests, even if heretical.

Our Lady of La Salette

Our Lady revealed at La Salette that the Catholic Church would be in eclipse in the future. This obviously means that it will still exist but will be behind the thing eclipsing it. This thing we can now see is the false Catholic Church; also known as the Vatican II/ Novus Ordo(New Order) church.
Our Lady's revelation makes perfect sense when it is thought of in the context of the book of Revelation and the False Bride. The Catholic Church is the bride of Christ and the Whore of Babylon is the false bride. It will sit on the city of seven hills. St. Peter writing from Rome uses code and says he is writing from Babylon in his epistle.
Our Lady also explains, in a different part of the revelation, that Rome will lose the faith . This can only mean that the hierarchy will no longer have the true Catholic Faith needed to stay within the Church. This has been obvious since the last five claimants to the Papacy have been faithless heretics.

Hi,
I wanted to start this for a few reasons. One, so that I could try to evangelize for the true Catholic Faith. Two, I could start some discussions and possibly educate people about the key to salvation. Third, sometimes I might even want to vent about the illogic of non-catholic cults that call themselves Christian. And I will probably learn a lot myself.
